To 14 June 1961 - 17,013 business-day rows in the observed file, running through 14 August 2026. A three-parameter Nelson-Siegel fit covers dates before 1980, when too few securities existed for the fuller model; the six-parameter Svensson specification applies from 1980 onward.

What does the FEDS yield curve file contain?

100 columns per date: four Svensson beta parameters covering level, slope and curvature, plus 30 zero-coupon yields, 30 par yields, 30 instantaneous forward rates and one-year forward rates at annual maturities from 1 to 30 years. Zero-coupon and instantaneous forwards are continuously compounded; par yields and one-year forwards are coupon-equivalent.
