Straight answers about Data from Federal Reserve Board, delivered clean. data

How many Federal Reserve Board datasets does Datadory deliver?

Eight cataloged datasets spanning six distinct Board programs - the Z.1 and the G.17 each appear twice, filed under different industry slices. Together they cover flow-of-funds accounts, commercial bank aggregates, selected interest rates, industrial production and the national noncash Payments Study, averaging 9.1 out of 10 on our quality rubric.

How far back does the Z.1 Financial Accounts history go?

Annual series begin in 1919 and quarterly flows and levels begin at 1945:Q4, with each vintage refreshing the full history rather than appending to a fragment. The observed mortgage tables run through 2026:Q1, and every table travels with a dictionary mapping each mnemonic to its sector, instrument, line number and units.

Which interest rates come in the H.15 collection?

263 series: the federal funds effective rate, nonfinancial and financial commercial paper at one-, two- and three-month tenors, bank prime, discount window primary credit, Treasury bills at four maturities, nominal Treasury constant maturities from one month to thirty years, and TIPS constant maturities at 5, 7, 10, 20 and 30 years. Daily observations on the funds series survive from July 1, 1954.

Does the G.17 cover electronics specifically, not just the total index?

Yes. The NAICS 334 cut breaks computer and electronic products into computers and peripheral equipment, communications equipment, and semiconductors and related components, each with its own index level, year-over-year change and utilization rate. In the July 2026 vintage, communications equipment printed 231.8 with 13.7% annual growth while the parent 334 line ran 77.2% utilization.
