Straight answers about Google data
What does Datadory deliver from Google?
Three cataloged datasets. One covers ad creatives served across Search, Play, Maps, Shopping and YouTube with advertiser identity, spend and impression ranges. One covers cross-repository dataset metadata complete with citations. One covers the normalized search-interest series with ranked trending lists. Each ships typed, documented, and cut to your scope.
How much ad history does the ads-transparency collection hold?
Two clocks govern it. Commercial creatives from verified advertisers stay in scope for one year from their last display, on a rolling basis, so routine capture beats occasional backfill. Election creatives run seven years past their last impression and add verification status, regulatory identifiers, advertiser type and ballot and promoter statements.
Are spend and impression figures exact amounts?
No - they arrive as ranges, the disclosure granularity published upstream. Ranges are precise enough to rank advertisers, size categories and estimate share of voice, and impression counts break out per surface so platform mix survives the rollup. Treat them as bracketing evidence rather than invoice-grade accounting.
How far back does the search-interest series go?
The main interest series runs from 2004 to the current hour, making it the deepest temporal reach in the Interactive Home Entertainment catalog. The ranked US tables carry rolling windows instead - five years daily, one year hourly - so historical depth comes from the series itself while the ranked lists stay current.
