Which measures does the Beer dictionary include?
Fifteen documented measures: production in two units; clearances in three strength bands (under 3.5%, 3.5-8.5% and at least 8.5% ABV); clearances by relief claim (none, draught only, small producer only, or both); ex-warehouse, ex-ship and UK registered bases; total beer clearances; and Total Alcohol Duty receipts from beer.
How far back do the time series reach?
Archived editions survive back to 2008, and each edition carries monthly detail alongside calendar-year and financial-year aggregates, so delivered history forms one continuous panel. First-release figures arrive provisional and get restated in later editions - revision flags in the period labels make superseded prints explicit.
Does the data break down by region or by brewery?
No. Granularity stops at UK level: one value per category per measure per period, sliced by strength band, relief claim and clearance basis. There is no regional cut and no brewer-level row anywhere in the dictionary, which is why establishment names and locations belong to a companion source such as Open Brewery DB.
