How big is the NYC DOB Job Application Filings collection?

About 2.72 million rows by 95 columns - every Department of Buildings job application with a Latest Action Date since January 1, 2000, filed through Borough Offices, eFiling or the HUB. Rows carry job and document numbers, borough, address, tax block and lot, job type and status codes, a full milestone date trail, costs and fees, applicant and owner names, and geocoding down to tax lot with census tract, council district and NTA identifiers.

What does one row in the restaurant inspection collection mean?

One violation within one inspection for one establishment - hence roughly 295,000 rows across 31 columns covering a much smaller set of restaurants and college cafeterias. Establishments repeat across their violations and are identified by CAMIS record ID. Scores run lower-is-better, letter grades run A through C plus administrative codes, and a 1/1/1900 inspection date marks an establishment that has applied for a permit but not yet been inspected.

Can the three collections be joined?

Within each collection, cleanly: job filings on job number plus document number or on BBL and BIN, inspections on CAMIS, park properties on OMP property ID. Across collections the shared spine is geography - borough, ZIP code, census tract, council district and NTA appear in all three - so neighborhood views of building activity, food safety and public leisure provision assemble without fuzzy matching. Deliveries keep those keys typed consistently across all three products.
