Straight answers about PeeringDB data

What does Datadory deliver from PeeringDB?

One Interactive Media & Services collection shipped as five joined tables: 35,180 networks keyed by ASN, 1,320 internet exchanges, 5,862 facilities, 65,619 network-to-exchange connections, plus organization and carrier reference tables - each with a verified field dictionary.

How many networks, exchanges and facilities does the registry hold?

As of the August 2026 pass: 35,180 networks, 1,320 exchanges, 5,862 facilities, 34,532 organizations, 287 carriers, 76 campuses, 65,619 exchange connections and 61,556 facility connections, spanning every continent under one shared schema.

Which fields come with each network record?

Thirteen verified field groups: ASN, display and long names, network classification such as NSP, ISP, Content or Enterprise, expected IPv4 and IPv6 prefix counts, self-reported traffic ratio and scope, protocol capability flags, location, denormalized counts and lifecycle timestamps.

Does the registry include history?

No. Coverage is the current state of each record plus created and updated timestamps; the publisher keeps no historical archive. History is what scheduled Datadory deliveries accumulate, so an exchange's membership becomes a time series instead of today's snapshot.
