Form 300A summaries run 2016 through 2025, case detail 2023-2025, Severe Injury Reports since January 2015, fatality inspections from April 2011 (State Plan records from around October 2014), chemical exposure samples back to 1984, and archived establishment injury rates spanning 1996-2011.
Can you compute injury incidence rates from this data?
Yes - `total_hours_worked` ships on every row, so a rate per 100 full-time-equivalent workers is arithmetic on one row instead of a join against headcount estimates. The agency's caution stands regardless: raw rates alone make poor establishment rankings.
Is employer-reported injury data trustworthy?
It is self-reported and explicitly unvalidated; the agency notes that reporting an injury implies no fault or rule violation. Pairing injury columns with independent inspection records is the honest read, and Datadory passes the caveats alongside the columns.
