Where to go next
The oil gas refining marketing data guide surveys all 20 datasets in this slice - 16 primary and 4 related - and explains where the Weekly Oil Bulletin fits among them. For the machine-learning angle specifically, start from the EU Weekly Oil Bulletin - cleaned dataset (Hugging Face), then add Eurostat stock covariates via Eurostat - Stock Levels for Gas Products (nrg_stk_gasm).

Is there a machine-learning dataset for European fuel price forecasting?
Yes - the EU Weekly Oil Bulletin - cleaned dataset (Hugging Face) provides one tidy row per country, week and fuel type with pump prices in EUR per litre, weekly from 3 January 2005 through 22 June 2026. The parquet build holds 135,867 rows under commercial delivery terms 4.0, so training-permissive reuse requires only attribution.
Can I get station-level European fuel prices through an API?
Not openly in Europe, and not freely elsewhere either. GasBuddy covers more than 150,000 US and Canadian stations in near real time, but its terms prohibit automated collection and commercial access runs through GasBuddy/PDI Technologies. For official alternatives, EIA publishes weekly US retail prices by PADD, state and city.
Do the published prices include taxes?
Both versions. Every country, product and week appears twice in the bulletin: once with all duties and taxes included, and once net of them. Comparing the two series isolates the fiscal component of a pump price, which is often the largest share of the difference between European countries.
Which countries does the Weekly Oil Bulletin cover?
All EU member states plus the United Kingdom, together with EU and eurozone aggregates. The cleaned Hugging Face build carries 30 distinct country values covering those 28 markets. Per-country methodological notes document national reporting conventions, which the Commission warns limit strict cross-country comparability.
