ITU DataHub

ITU DataHub is where the union's country-level telecom statistics now live. The catalog's ITU record states it directly: the former paid World Telecommunication/ICT Indicators Database was discontinued in 2024 and its data made free via ITU DataHub under updated terms hosted at datahub.itu.int/about.

• Granularity moved there. The record's coverage note says country-level detail resides on ITU DataHub; aggregate time series remain available separately.
• Terms changed with the price. Free now means updated terms, not the old commercial licence - read them before redistribution.

3. Test automated retrieval. The about page blocked automated access during research, so probe whether your crawler or API client gets through before designing around it.
