WSTS members-only reports

Members-only reports are the part of wsts.org you cannot reach with a browser session alone: Monthly Reports and detailed product-category breakdowns - Discretes, Optoelectronics, Sensors, Analog, Micro, Logic and Memory - hosted at /77/MONTHLY-REPORTS behind a username and password.

Access is purchased. The acquisition notes state that members-only content requires paid membership credentials, with the 2026 membership fee unchanged from 2025 and credit card payment offered. Licensing stays restrictive even after purchase: "Copyright WSTS Inc. - free download, reproduction requires written permission." The overall model is freemium - the public site carries the historical billings files, while per-product-category depth lives here. That split, not technical difficulty, is what separates the two tiers.

Membership is a budgeting decision disguised as a click.

• Product-level analysis needs the login. Regional totals are public; the seven product families listed above are not. A semiconductor model built only on public files cannot see the Memory-versus-Logic split.

• One subscription, one scope. Credentials gate the content, so seat planning precedes rollout - sharing logins across a team defeats exactly what the credential wall exists to enforce.

• Download is not publication. Even paid members need written permission to reproduce, so customer-facing products cannot simply embed member downloads.

• Fee stability helps planning. 2026 pricing held at 2025 levels, payable by credit card.
