Which countries and years does the coverage span?

Domestic tables carry United States figures with producing states called out for precious metals; the world tables set mine production and reserves side by side for roughly 175 countries. Each edition holds a rolling five-year window - currently 2021 through 2025 - and earlier editions reach back to the 1990s for longer series.

How deep is the gold, silver and platinum-group metals coverage?

Each precious metal keeps a dedicated chapter. The current gold figures put US mine production at an estimated 160 tons worth about 17 billion dollars, Nevada supplying roughly 64 percent, against world mine production near 3,000 tons and reserves of 59,000 tons.
